Vibe, formerly Le Chat, is the consumer assistant from Mistral AI, a French company based in Paris. Rewriting an email, summarizing an article, looking something up: it covers the essentials, for free. The company falls under GDPR and is not subject to the US Cloud Act. One caveat: since 2026, Free and Pro conversations are used for training unless you opt out. Turning it off takes thirty seconds in the settings.
