Description
Organic Maps is a fork of Maps.me, cleaned of all advertising and tracking. Maps are based on OpenStreetMap and work entirely offline. The app is lightweight, fast, and battery-friendly. Fewer features than OsmAnd, but the interface is much simpler. Perfect for daily navigation and hiking.
My take
If I could only keep one GPS, it would be this one. The real test: a two-hour drive through Normandy without a hitch. Since then, Google no longer knows where I go. Chapter 10.
